School Supply List

Middle School Supply List - 2018-2019

 
Supplies for all classes and homerooms
Loose-leaf paper (college-ruled), pens (black, blue and red), pencils, erasers and cap erasers, glue stick, highlighters (various colors), ruler, colored pencils, and markers.
These can be purchased to be shared with other semester classes.
Students should make sure they have plenty of these items on hand regularly and be able to access them as needed.  
Purchasing a portable pencil pouch or box is recommended for storage of writing utensils.

One 1 or 2" 3-ring binder with notebook paper and graph paper  
(Ms. Pearson does not collect notebooks so you can put more than one subject in a notebook if that is how you prefer to organize your notebooks.)
TI-83/Plus or TI-84/Plus graphing calculator
(The use of graphing calculators with capabilities beyond those of the TI-84 will not be allowed on graded assignments, quizzes or tests.)

Pocket Folder (with 3 holes to place inside binder)
Post-It/ Sticky Notes (any color or size)
 
**We will also read a minimum of two novels as a class throughout the year and you are highly encouraged to purchase a personal copy of each novel so proper annotating/ note taking can be performed.  Novel titles and purchasing information will be listed on the course syllabus.
 
***Students will continue to utilize their HCA Google Drive for saving assignments they create digitally in their middle school classes.  Therefore, a USB flash drive will not be needed at school this year.

The following items are not required for language arts, but are used throughout the year to enhance instruction.  If you would like to purchase and donate any of the items below for our classroom, I would be very grateful.
