The Learning Center at HCA

About The Learning Center at HCA:

The Learning Center at Harrells Christian Academy was established to provide a unique and essential service to students with learning differences by offering an alternative to traditional education.  By providing students with a multisensory learning experience in a small group setting (teacher-student ratio 1:3), the Learning Center helps students close the gap between their achievement and their potential.

Instruction is direct, sequential, multisensory, and diagnostic in nature. Skills are taught in an intensive, structured, and individualized manner using auditory, visual and kinesthetic methods. As a supplement to instruction, students enrolled in English Language Arts in the Learning Center will also have access to two research-based computer programs. The goal of the Learning Center is to equip students with the skills necessary to perform within the regular classroom setting.
