Community Service
By participating in service projects throughout their school careers, students enhance their capacities for compassion and empathy, establish lifelong commitments to personal altruism, and develop a civic awareness that leads them to search for justice and to work for social change. This is the model that Jesus provided for us as he challenged us to "love thy neighbor."
Because service is fundamental to the school’s mission, the K–12 program embodies the following values on which the school was founded. By incorporating these values into our program, our students not only become socially aware but they are equipped to change the world around them.
Respect for the integrity, worth, and diversity of others
The embrace of intellectual, creative, and physical challenges
Strength of character
Concern for others
Self-reliance, curiosity, and imagination
Social justice
World citizenship
